I’ve enjoyed working with advisors in my home city of Dallas, Texas and across the United States, helping them serve their clients. I’ve seen the difference a prudent advisor can make in someone’s life.

During the COVID pandemic I began blogging about personal finance as a way to collect my thoughts and create a system for managing money. I founded Financial Empowerment in 2022.

My passion is simplifying complicated things – like investing for example. The best investors I’ve met, and the people I feel most drawn to, have a way of explaining complex ideas in straightforward fashion. Money can seem complicated, but it doesn’t have to be. There are fundamental concepts underlining all of finance, like diversification as a way to manage investment risk and spending less than you make in order to build savings in your personal finances. These concepts are not difficult to understand or explain.

I wasn’t taught much about finance or investing until college, and I made my share of bad financial moves. Sadly, our society makes money exploiting people’s lack of financial literacy. I think it’s important to increase financial literacy in our communities, and Financial Empowerment aims to do just that.

Empowering people to live life to the fullest instead of worrying about money; building wealth for peace-of-mind; helping people keep their promises to loved ones and live their lives to the fullest; these are what Financial Empowerment is all about.
